Who We Are
The Corrosion Control Division (CCD) is a consortium of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composite manufacturers and material suppliers that promote the use of FRP composites for corrosion-resistant industrial applications.
CCD is part of the American Composites Manufacturers Association‘s (ACMA) Composites Growth Initiative which works to promote composites generally through development of standards, education and technical projects. Since 1990, CCD representatives have served as the composites industry’s experts to owners and operators of corrosion resistant equipment.
Maintaining a Higher Standard
The mission of the CCD is to:
- Assist engineers on the design, specification and application of FRP composites in highly corrosive environments
- Educate the corrosion fabricator on issues relating to quality, production, safety, and regulations that can affect their businesses
The members of the CCD are dedicated to providing superior FRP corrosion-resistant products for industrial and commercial use.
